Many aging, injured, or disabled drivers struggle with getting back behind the wheel and doing so safely. This can be a concern for the driver, their family, and others. Contact us for a free consultation and we can help you decide if an evaluation may be helpful.

Who can benefit from driving rehabilitation?

Vision testing

 From the comfort of your home we test your vision, sensation in hands & feet, how you move, and your thinking and concentration. These tests help us to know if you are ready to be in the driver’s seat.

Driver training

 For behind-the wheel assessment you will use our company driving rehab car to drive both familiar and unfamiliar routes in your community for an evaluation of your fitness to drive.

 Using information from steps 1 & 2, we will discuss outcomes and next steps. This will be a conversation with you, your family, and/or your referring doctor.

 Some individuals need adaptive equipment in order to drive independently. Mindful Mobility can help you to identify specific needs, try out equipment, and work with a mobility dealer to have your vehicle modified.
